Discription:
MS0000 Primer Clear is designed to simplify stocking of multiple base plasitisols. It functions as a Process Clear Base, Curable Thinner, Extender Base, a first down "Lint Catcher" as well as a top "Clear Coat" plastisol for reducing fibrillation. Primer Clear is not a low bleed for use on plastisol therefor it is not recommended for use on polyester/cotton dark fabrics.
Benefits:

Stock one base for multiple uses.

Mix with M2 colours to reduce opacity and increase colour clarity.
Mix with high tack plastisols to reuce tack and increase flow.
Use as a process blue, curable thinner and extender.
Use a "Lint Catcher", in the first postion for uninterrupted production runs when printing on dark 100% cotton.
Use as an "Overcoat Clear" to reduce fibrillation.
Increase ink volume and decrease cost.
Extend penetration into fibre when printing with fine mesh. Download Pearl Gel PDF
Applications:
Extender Base: (reduce opacity and increase colour clarity) Mix with opaque colours in place of NA0839 or NA0840 Soft Hand Extender to reduce cost, opacity and increase colour clarity. Extending colours also increase ink volume and decreases cost.
Curable Thinner: (reduce viscosity, increase flow) Mix with plasitisol colours in place ofNA0005 Plasitisol Thinner to reduce viscosity and allow ink to roll away from squeegee blade, into the mesh opening.
Lint Catcher for dark fabrics:(uninterrupted production) Create a single clear plate by combining all colours in an open image to bre printed on a dark 100% cotton fabric. Print Primer Clear (230 mc in./90 mc.cm. mesh), White (110 mc in./43 mc.cm.) or higher mesh and then flash. Follow with all colours in the design. MS0000 primes the fibre by pre-wetting prior to the application of the white underlay. Much of the tint that is normally attached to the back of the white screen is now picked up on the back of the primer screen clear screen, which allows for uninterrupted production runs.
Overcoat Clear to reduce fibrillation: Create a single clear plate by combining all colours in an open image to bre printed on 100% cotton fabric. Print all colours, flash, then print Primer Clear (230 mc in./90 mc.cm. mesh), over the top to seal fibres, reducing the amount of fibrillation seen after wash and dry cycles.
Special Recommendations:
Plastisols are THEMOPLASTIC, requiring heat of fusion. Wash for a minimum of 5 wash and dry cycles to test for cure. Stir plastisols prior to printing. DO NOT DRY CLEAN. DO NOT USE BLEACH. DO IRON IMAGE AREA.

MS0000 primer Clear is available in 1-gallon pails, 5-gallon pails, 30-gallon drums and 55-gallon drums.
