InkTech Poly Enamel Ink, POE-0000 Series

Inktech International was incorporated in 1992, and as a privately owned company have accumulated a vast knowledge of the screen printing industry. Prior to forming Inktech, many of us worked within various aspects of the industry, each bringing a fresh perspective of what the industry was missing. We recognized a lack of respect and dedication between ink manufacturers/suppliers and their customers, which often occurs with the lack of competition. Although our initial objective was to renew the respect that a supplier should have for it's customers, and build a partnership with them, we have also raised the bar for quality, service and price.

Product Discription:

A fast dry, glossy, scuff-resistant, ink for decorating poly containers, paper, card and wood. POE-0000 series ink exhibit excellent resistance to a wide variety of consumer chemicals.

Application Information:

Substrate:

TREATED POLYETHYLENE AND POLYPROPYLENE, CARD, PAPER AND WOOD.

Application:

POLY CONTAINERS.

Thinning:

May be used straight from the can but it is recommended to thin 5 - 15% by weight with POE-1800 Thinner. For maximum lightfastness or outdoor durability little or no thinning is recommended. Additives: POE-1700 Clear should only be used to increase transparency of colours. However, this will reduce the durability and lightfastness of the colour. To prevent ink skinning in can, spray a light mist of POE-1950 Anti-Skinning Agent on the surface of ink in partially used cans. Repeat whenever ink can is opened for reuse. Add up to 2% POE-1860 anti-scuff additive to further improve scuff-resistance.

Wash-Up:

POE-1800 Thinner POE-1840 Wash-Up Coverage: Approximately 1800 sq.ft./1 U.S. Gallon using a 280/in. monofilament fabric.

Coverage:

Approximately 1800 sq.ft./1 U.S. Gallon using a 280/in. monofilament fabric.

Fabric/Stencil:

230 to 305 monofilament fabric. Direct and indirect photostencil or water soluble hand cut stencils are suitable.

Drying:

By oxidation. POE-0000 Series air dries in 30 minutes or can be force-dried 30 to 1 minute at 150° fahrenheit to 180° fahrenheit. Allow more time when overprinting to avoid possible re-wetting of previous colours.

Die Cutting/Creasing:

Can be successfully die cut or creased but should be tested prior to production.

1. It is the printer's responsibility to pre-test the ink selected prior to engaging in a production run.
